When the local livery yard is demolished to make way for a new DIY centre, Moya and Sue desperately search for a new home for their ponies. Moya’s chance meeting with a young squatter who, with a group of friends, is occupying the Grange, leads to the ponies being rehoused in the Grange’s stables. But can the girls keep the location secret, and how are they going to cope with all the unwanted horses and ponies who, one way or another, find their way to the Grange? And then their troubles really start when former tenants of the Grange, who left suddenly under the cloud of a fraud scandal, return to collect their ill-gotten gains.
