"Not all that long ago I couldn't even get on my horse, he was up for sale and I was giving up. But something in me changed and I turned my life around.

Last year I completed my first ever British Eventing season with my horse Pat, finishing the year full of confidence. I also bought Bender, an ex-racehorse and had massive ambitions to get to the top of the ex-hrose showing world!

What a year! The things I have learnt, it's been a rocky ride.

But how does that old saying go... 'A smooth sea never made a strong sailor'
