The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a showcase for some of the finest limestone scenery in Europe. Covering 683 square miles (1,769 sq km), it can be divided naturally into a number of areas, each with its own character.

Perhaps the most famous of these is the area widely known as the Three Peaks, much of which is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The Three Peaks lie on the western fringe of the National Park and consist of the mountains of Whernside, Ingelborough and Pen-y-Ghent.

In this stunning book, photographer Andy Stansfield, who has known the area for most of his life, captures the ever-changing seasons of a year in the life of the Three Peaks.
